How do you participate?
Places are limited. In order to be able to enroll in the doctoral course, applicants must participate in a competition for titles and exams, and apply according to the manner specified in the call http://www.unipr.it/didattica/post-laurea/dottorati-di-ricerca

Who can participate?

For admission to the doctorate, a master's degree is required according to the current law or equivalent title. It is a preferential title to have a Master degree in science.

What is the job of the PhD student?
The course and the grants last for three years. At the beginning of the course, PhD students are assigned to one or more tutors. The tutor will take care of the PhD’s cultural training and her/his scientific research. The training programme includes:
-Research activities;
- Disciplinary and interdisciplinary training activities, with educational proposals set up specifically for the doctorate.
- Training and research activities abroad, at qualified research centers.

How to get the title?
At the end of the three-year degree, the PhD students submit a written thesis, which is judged by two external assessors and by an examination commission.
